Story
CLIC Sargent was set up in the wake of the death of one of Stamford School's most famous old boys, the composer, Sir Malcolm Sargent. As well as this the charity has helped several Stamford Endowed Schools students make it through some of the toughest times in their lives, coping with having cancer and leukemia and providing them and their families with clinical, practical, financial and emotional support. These factors along with the other fantastic work that CLIC Sargent does, made it an obvious choice for us when we finalised our place on The 2014 Mongol Rally.
The Mongol Rally; a 10,000 mile long drive from Battersea here in the UK to Ulan Bataar in Mongolia. Our route spans almost half the globe and takes us through Europe, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, across the Caspian Sea into the vast wilderness of Central Asia, at times through inhospitable terrain.
At the finish, a total of 20 countries. All this to be completed in a 1L car. When all said and done it does seem like quite an undertaking for four guys who haven't been driving for five years between them!
And so while at a first glance it might seem like a 'Gap Yah' plea, we stress that the organisation and effort we are putting into this is all for a good cause and we really hope you can help us reach our goal.

Many thanks, Ben, Rory and Andy.
