Story
I know through personal experience that hula hooping is not only loads of fun, but also many other things. It helps express ourselves, stay active, boosts mood and improves co-ordination. Now we are in lockdown, having online classes is a great way to be part of a small community looking out for each other, and making each other smile. Sharing these skills also gives me a way to be useful and keeps me focused!
I'm teaching online classes every Wednesday and Friday until 20th May. You can join these classes by emailing or messaging me and I'll send you the link for Zoom. Anyone can join. If you are in a position to do so, you can donate here and it will be really appreciated. There is no obligation to do that though.
I'm fundraising for North Merchiston Club, a small family-run venue in Fountainbridge where we teach our classes, because on top of all the challenges faced by small charities just now, they were broken into last month. Thousands of pounds worth of damages were caused. The club really supports the local community, and is hoping to celebrate its 100th birthday this summer. I'm proud to be supporting this brilliant place and the people who work hard to keep it going.
