Story

I'm taking on the challenge to climb Kilimanjaro with my 3 sisters - Liz, Steph & Jen -  to raise awareness and vital funds for the horrendous disease that is Motor Neurone Disease.  Our Aunt Ellie died of MND in 2012, aged just 63, only 18 months from diagnosis, our Mum's younger sister.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) damages and destroys the neurones that carry messages from the brain to the muscles. Once these motor neurones have been damaged messages cannot reach the muscles leading to weakness and, eventually, paralysis.   MND is progressive and is not curable.  With MND your legs and arms stop working, speech, eating and breathing becomes difficult but your brain, your thoughts and feelings are all still normal! How horrendous! It's a death sentence and no cure is known yet!

**Please text KMND80 £10 (or £5, or £2, etc) to 70070 to sponsor me today**

Please please dig deep and donate! We need to find a cure and support sufferers and their families,   Kath xx
