Story
As you know by now (otherwise you wouldn't be reading this), I'm training to cycle 400km in Kenya later this year. Yes, that's 400km in 5 days. (And not just on level ground, there's a whole heap of uppy and downy bits too, quite literally.)
In fact, I'm most dreading day 3, which is around 93km (including 26km uphill).
You can check I'm not skimping on the training at: www.katecycleskenya.blogspot.com
And other bits and bobs at www.twitter.com/katecycleskenya
If you're not sick of me after that, you can also find me at: https://www.facebook.com/kate.rontree
The trip itself is from 24th November until 3rd December. A day each side for travelling, then the actual cycling bit takes place over 5 days (yikes!), with a couple of days left over to help with projects in Kenya (assuming I can still walk).
I know it may seem early to start fundraising, but the charity has to pay for flights etc up front. And if I don't raise £2,160 by Sept 15th, I can't go. So please help me make training in the rain worthwhile... I though cycling during the summer would give me a tan! Instead, it's just given me watermarks.
I will be very grateful for any donations, of any size.
Thank you.
