Story

This summer I have been very fortunate to undertake a summer placement at Network Rail supported by Entrepreneurial Scotland's Saltire Scholar scheme.

I have the amazing opportunity to visit and scale the Forth Rail bridge to the top, volunteer at Bo'Ness Heritage Railway to renew track, and go on track with Network Rail's front-line teams. Between site visits, I have spent my time in Motherwell with the Overhead Electrification team where I have learned how the maintenance departments keep the railway running smoothly and contributed towards this.

With this Kiltwalk I hope to fundraise for Entrepreneurial Scotland, such that more students in future years can benefit from ESF's support and experience the opportunities I have this summer.
