Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 31 May 2015, I will be joining my sister Zoe's team and taking part in the Mayor of St Albans' City Sprint Triathlon (5k cycle, 3k run, 200m swim), organised by Everyone Active at Westminster Lodge, St Albans. The triathlon is being held in aid of Zoe's  charity, the Dream Foundation, which she set up two years ago through her passion for making the arts affordable and accessible to all young people, and providing them with the opportunities and avenues to express themselves in nurturing and supportive environments.

The Dream Foundation is the Mayor's chosen charity of the year, and the triathlon will be one of the final few events being held in its support.  All the money raised from the triathlon will go directly into supporting young people at risk or at a disadvantage by providing them with access to bursaries, scholarships and free or subsidised opportunities, training and education in the performing arts.  Funds raised will also go towards the Dream Foundation's Free Arts Programme to reach out to more young people by bringing free dance and drama workshops into schools and local communities.
