I am hoping to raise money to support a woman for 6 months at Meseret House by having a raffle. Meseret House provides a safe haven for single mothers to keep them off the streets in Ethiopia and provides childcare to enable these women to seek employment so they can independently care for themselves and their family. It costs just £84 a month to keep a woman at Meseret House and it is totally supported by charitable donations. Having spent time there I have seen how amazing the charity is and seen the positive outcomes they achieve with very little money.
