Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the London Marathon to raise money for Crohn's and Colitis UK, the leading UK charity for people suffering with Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis and other forms of inflammatory bowel disease. The charity provides support to people with Crohn's and Colitis, helps to raise awareness and funds medical research to try and find a cure.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease when I was 12 years old. It is not known what causes Crohn's disease and at the moment there is no cure. Over the years I have tried various treatments including surgery 5 years ago, and I am now on long term medication. I am one of the lucky ones and having Crohn's disease has little impact on my day to day life. There are many other sufferers out there who aren't so lucky.

So,  I am running the London marathon to raise money for Crohn's and Colitis UK, and hopefully one day they will be able to find a cure. I am pretty sure this will be one of the hardest things I do and I will never do anything this crazy again. Any money you can donate would be greatly appreciated!!
