Mental health is integral to living a healthy, balanced life. It impacts how we feel, think and behave each day. Our mental health also contributes to our decision making process, how we cope with stress and how we relate to others in our lives.
The psychological impact of the pandemic is still emerging. The trauma can take time to reveal itself. Although the mental health effects of the pandemic have not been the same for everyone, those who have been particularly impacted have felt certain ways in which they have never felt before and should never be made to feel.
'Mind' are a mental health charity who provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
My aim is to raise a minimum of £600 so they can continue their great work and offer the endless support to those who need it most.
