Story

Next April I will attempt in the Moroccan Sahara, The Marathon des Sables (www.darbaroud.com) . Dubbed 'the toughest footrace on earth', it covers approximately 250km  over 6 days.

Loosing the weight gained for my swims was too long a process for my taste, and since I was caught moving a treadmill inside the sauna, taking a vacation for a little run was naturally the easiest and only solution.

Again I want to dedicate my challenge to Whizz kidz (http://www.whizz-kidz.org.uk/), an association which gives the chance to disabled children to lead a better life by providing them adequate equipments.

Some "trip details" to motivate your donation ?
- no cold water this time, but 50C air temperature while climbing steep dunes and possible sand storms

- 15kg backpack with all food and equipment/clothes for a self-sufficiency race

- Water supply limited to 12 liters per day. (no surprise, if I grow again a beard)

- No jelly fish this time, but scorpios, snakes and other delicatesseen that require us to carry an anti-venom pump...

- Extract of the race booklet "Necessary fees required for transport in case of death: 1525Euros"     (I will be careful Mum I swear....)

- oh, and I forgot, I never ran a marathon before

So if Whizz-Kidz cause matters to you thanks VERY MUCH for your support.....

Julien

PS: As a bundle offer I am also putting  the Austrian ironman in the pot.
