Challenges for Ewan

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page in memory of Ewan Crosbie, raising funds for CLIC Sargent.
Ewan was the son of friends Graeme and Kathy Crosbie. He sadly died a year ago from Leukemia. Throughout his illness, both Ewan and his family were given excellent support from CLIC Sargent both at Bristol Children’s Hospital and at home near Taunton. A group of friends from university wanted to do something to remember Ewan. Over the next few months, some of us will use this page to ask you to sponsor us on a variety of challenges.
Challenge no 7 is Nicky Forbes doing the 4 lakeland peaks this November and nos 8 & 9 & 10 involve Jo and Mike Hogan & Matthew, Sophie and Hannah getting their runners on in 100% humidity in the Singapore 10k and half marathon on December 2nd. Mike is aiming to beat 2 hours and offering to run in fancy dress for the highest bidder! Jo is doing her first ever 10k and the kids are all doing the 750m kids dash.
6 challenges have already been completed. Anna Sulley did her first ever 10k on Sunday 28th October at Dorney Lake near Windsor. 1hr 3mins in the pouring rain and howling wind. A fabulous achievement. Jorrit and Kiah raced in Newcastle. Jorrit ran The Great North Run half marathon in 2hrs 4 mins and Kiah ran the 3 mile Junior Great North Run. Meanwhile down south, Nick Diprose donned lycra and ran the Hampton Court 10k in a very respectable 55 mins & 47 secs. Earlier this month, Joolz & Vicki kicked off the series of challenges with The Vitruvian Triathlon (1.9k swim, 84k bike, 21k run) in 6hrs 11 and 5hrs 59 respectively.
Thanks for all your support and sponsorship to date. If you are able to sponsor any of us and support a great charity it would be most appreciated.
Many thanks
Joolz, Vix, Nick, Nicky, Jorrit, Kiah, Mike, Jo, Anna, Matthew, Sophie and Hannah
