Story
On 13th October, I’ll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon—a challenging 13.1-mile race through London’s iconic parks. I’m doing this to raise funds for the RSPCA East London and Havering Branch, a charity I’ve been honoured to serve as a trustee for the past eight years.
During my time with this amazing organisation, I’ve seen firsthand the difference we make in the lives of animals. Each year, we rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome around 200 animals—dogs, cats, rabbits, and more—who have faced neglect, abuse, or abandonment. We provide them with the care and support they need to recover and find loving forever homes.
This cause is close to my heart because I believe every animal deserves a chance at a better life. The funds raised will help us continue our vital work, from providing veterinary care to responding to emergencies and supporting these animals on their journey to a new home.
I’ve set a fundraising goal of £400, and every donation will go directly to the RSPCA East London and Havering Branch. Here’s how your support can make a difference:
- £10 can help feed an animal for a week.
- £25 can cover a health check for a rescued animal.
- £50 can contribute to the cost of neutering and vaccinations.
- £100 can help fund emergency rescue operations.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Your support—whether through a donation or by sharing this page—means a lot to me and will make a real difference in the lives of animals who need our help.
Every bit of support makes a difference!
