As most of you will know my son Ollie received a bone-marrow transplant when he was 8 months old.

Without the support of family, friends and staff at Hinchinbrooke, Addenbrookes and Great Ormond Street Hospitals we would have struggled to come through the other side.

One way of saying thank you is to raise some money for a particular group without whom Ollie would not be celebrating his 9th birthday this year.

I have therefore volunteered to cycle the 2015 100-mile Prudential RideLondon-Surrey for Anthony Nolan on 2nd August and need your help to raise as much money as possible in the hope they can continue to help people with life threatening illnesses.

Ollie continues to do well and his development skills are improving all the time. He's always been a very happy boy and has an infectious chuckle. Without Anthony Nolan he would no longer be with us.
