AMMF are the UK's only cholangiocarcinoma charity. This is a type of cancer that is difficult to diagnose early and is usually so advanced by detection that less than 5% survive more than a year from diagnosis. This was the case for my Aunty Judi who died of this cancer in 2012, less than a year after her diagnosis. With earlier diagnosis and treatment many more people could have a better survival chance and this is the aim of AMMF.  

I'm running my first marathon in support of AMMF and in memory of my much missed Aunty.

Any donation that you can make is greatly appreciated.  Having run a half marathon in September 12 and knowing how much that hurt I'm more than slightly apprehensive of the challenge. The knowledge of what I'm running for along with your support will however get me through the 26 Miles.

With each donation you make please vote for the beard style I will sport for the day. Check the pictures in my gallery for what I might look like!  The options are "The Craig David", "The Abe Lincoln" or "The Mexican". State your chosen beard style in your comments when you donate and the style with the highest number of votes the day before the marathon will win!
