We need your support to ensure the SVR's long term survival

Story

John's funeral takes place on Thursday 28th May at the Wyre Forest Crematorium. Numbers are restricted because of current guidelines and only close family will be in attendance.

In lieu of flowers, it would mean a great deal to John's family for donations to be made in his name to the Severn Valley Railway Charitable Trust.

As you may know, John was a great friend to the Severn Valley Railway, and he took a major role in extending the remit of the SVR Charitable Trust in 2012.

He loved visiting this marvellous railway, and derived a huge amount of pleasure and personal pride in playing a part in its development and well-being.

About the charity

Despite the relaxation of Covid restrictions, our trains, cafes and shops are running at reduced capacity and as a consequence, we face a continued loss of income. WE NEED YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT TO ENABLE FUTURE GENERATIONS TO ENJOY THIS WONDERFUL HERITAGE RAILWAY.
