Happy New Year. 

I am a founder Trustee of Rochdale Connections Trust. This year we won the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. We train Volunteer Mentors to NVQ 2 and match them with disaffected youngsters.

I was 60 years old on 14th November and I have pledged to fund training for 60 new Mentors to celebrate my 60 years. We had a party at Rochdale Town Hall on Saturday 18th November and following that, thanks to my generous relatives and friends, I am over half way to my target.
