I am doing this challenge because I want to support spinal cord injured people.   I was paralysed by a spinal cord injury 43 years ago and back then there was no support as there is today.  I have worked at Aspire, the national charity which supports people with Spinal Cord Injury, for over 20 years and so I see firsthand the great work the charity does, especially for newly injured patients. 

I have been handcycling for just over two years and I wouldn't look back. It's important to keep fit and healthy and it encourages me to get out and about in the sunshine!
