Story
I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life's pretty muddy this year.
Back in October 2014 i was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer.
In December 2014 i started chemotherapy. I had 8 rounds in total. Once every 3 weeks, followed by a lumpectomy and 23 radiotherapy sessions. Also had 18 injections of herceptin and finished all my treatment in February this year.
I am in remission now and i want to show cancer who's boss!!
I have lost family members and friends to this awful disease and i will be running in memory of them, as well as the survivors and those still fighting.
In memory of both my nans, Nanny Hand and Nanny mickley. A very dear family friend Christine Hewstone who passed away recently and friends that have passed from my support groups. Badass booby bitches )BBB's ) and Younger breast cancer network (YBCN) still to many to mention.
I will not be doing this alone, I have some amazing friends and family joining me to!!
