Story
I was diagnosed in January 2009 with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Thanks to Dr Jane Lim (my GP), Dr Panos Kottaridis, Clara Patmore and the rest of the staff at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, as well as my wonderful family and great friends, I'm now 22 months in remission and 20 months post chemo. Life really is returning to normal.
In 2009, my very good friend, William Eccleshare, raised money in support of me for Leukaemia Care by running the BUPA London 10k and many of you kindly sponsored him. As a thank you to everyone who has helped me on my journey so far, I'm now planning on running the same race in May of this year.
I really hope you'll be able to sponsor me this time and help raise more funds for Leukaemia Care. Two years ago, I would never have believed I'd be in a position to do this, so I'm sure you'll understand how important this is to me. Thank you everyone for everything.
