In a moment of temporary insanity I decided I was going to run a marathon, and the lovely people at Barnardo's have been good enough to offer me one of their places for London 2010.

Barnardo's are a fantastic charity who believe that all children and young people should grow up free from poverty, abuse and discrimination.  They have been supporting abused, vulnerable, forgotten and neglected children for over 140 years and now help in excess of 110000 children and their families every year.  For every £1 that they receive in charitable donations, 94p goes direct to helping those who need it most.  I'm very excited about supporting them and ask you to dig deep and donate as much as you can.  With JustGiving, it's simple, fast and totally secure.
