Thank you for visiting the Joan Elizabeth Goodfellow Memorial Page. 

On February 12th 2019, Joan (beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend) passed away peacefully at home, aged 83 years. She was surrounded by her family throughout, and will always be greatly missed. Joan was truly a one-off character; she was an exceptionally bubbly and witty lady, who was always the first one up on the dance floor at any social event. No matter what Joan was faced with she always had a positive outlook and a smile on her face, and that is how she will be remembered. 

As a family, we cannot thank the Marie Curie nurses and healthcare assistants enough for the care and compassion they showed towards Joan. The Marie Curie team went above and beyond to support her and our family, and for that, we will always be grateful. 

We respectfully encourage a donation (no matter what size!) for the Marie Curie team, enabling them to continue with their work in supporting other patients and families in our region.
