Story
We are back!
After the last 18 months we are finally able to return to playing the JK Memorial Game. We understand that the last year and half has been so hard for so many, and we are not yet out of this yet completely, but given the current restrictions we are able to let the game go ahead in a Covid Safe manner. We have teamed up with a number of local business' to be able to provide amazing food, drink and treats which we will be giving more information about in the coming weeks.
The game will be hosted at Mens Own RFC as per previous events, with more information being announced very shortly. The bar there will also be open for you to enjoy a cold one whilst watching the game.
Ofcourse, we are continuing to support the charity, Mind, and this year is extra special, as we are aiming to finally break the £10,000 mark in memory and honour of our dear friend Jordan. We only need £1797.32 to hit the milestone! The last 18 months has affected alot of people in many ways, and mental health is something that cannot be forgotten about. We need to raise this money to help people who need it most at this time.
**We ask that everyone keeps social distanced whilst spectating the game as per the current guidance from the RFU in regards to spectating. More information on spectating the game can be found at: https://www.englandrugby.com/.../club.../helpdesk-faqs **
We know the last 18 months have been hard, but we really hope this gives everyone something to look forward to, whilst carrying on the amazing work we have done in memory of Jordan.
Thanks
Dan and Alex
