Fundraising for Woking Hospice
Story
I will be running the half marathon with Team KC (Kris Cook). Woking resident Kris sadly passed away during the RideLondon-Surrey bike race in the summer, and although I never met him, I've been inspired by the strength of his girlfriend Nicola, who I will be running alongside.
Kris and Nicola were raising money for Woking and Sam Beare Hospices at the cycle race, so I will also be raising money for the cause. Through my job as a journalist and editor, I have seen the fantastic work the hospices do, and this will be the third fundraising event I have done to raise money for them.
