My little girl Michaela was born with a squiffy head and i was told by doctors that it would round itself out. So far at nearly 8 months it has not shown any signs of that so I have opted to get her a helmet fitted which will hopefully help it to round out. She will wear the helmet for 23 hours a day for at least 3 months and will hopefully make a dramatic improvement from the research I have done. Im hoping she will have a nice round head by her first birthday. The treatment is not available on the nhs as they say it is cosmetic but if she has wonky teeth i will get her braces.It is quite expensive at £500 deposit and then if you pay over 6 months is £260 a month. My dear Nanny Peg has given me the deposit and the charity i am raising for Headstart4Babies have kindly donated £450 towards her treatment but that still leaves £1104 for me to raise so any donations would be gratefully received or if you you come an check out my stall at Woodgreen animal shelter on the 8th of March all proceeds will go towards her helmet.
