On the 9th July 2024, I lost my dad John Duncan due to accidental drowning in the Maldives.
Never did I think at 26 I would lose a parent, especially in this way and it’s been tough. However, the JD would have told me to get a fkn grip of masel, which is why I’m getting back to it and doing my 3rd kiltwalk, in memory of him and for a great cause.

Cruse Scotland offer hope when the future seems empty. They provide free specialist bereavement listening and counselling services, so that those needing support receive the right help at the right time, building resilience and improving wellbeing.
£10 may cover a 1-hour call to the Helpline
It costs £50 for each 1-to-1 counselling session
£100 trains a Helpline volunteer
£1,200 trains a specialist in children's bereavement
