Dear Family and Friends

Next Saturday I take part for the second time in this event with some local friends.  This year however, as you know, I have a particularly powerful reason to raise as much money as I can as the headline charity is 'Breakthrough Breast Cancer'.  I know this is not exactly the Great North Run, and with my current energy levels (my radiotherapy starts this week) it may well turn into more of a walk in the park, but I do hope you can forgive me for asking you to contribute a few pennies to this charity to which I now have so much to be personally thankful for.
