I am riding from London to Paris at the end of June to raise money for a charity that I do a lot of Coaching for, BOOST. Boost stands for Building On Over-looked Sporting Talent and it trains up sports coaches and sends them out into the local community to try and get those who do not have readily available access to sport the opportunity to participate in certain sports. It not only works in the local community but also further abroad. There are currently projects in the West Indies in countries such as St. Vincent and Guyana. The reason that I am taking part in this Cycle ride is to raise enough money to be able to send out a third Rugby Development Officer out to the West Indies. The progress showed by BOOST in these countries can be seen. In the recent IRB 7's series Guyana have participated and this is a lot due to the hard work of BOOST personnel. I will be going out to the West Indies for 5 weeks this summer to help develop and deliver coaching sessions to those who are not fortunate enough to be able to participate in sport.

I along with several other riders who are participating for BOOST may add an additional leg to our Journey and start on the 26th June and head from Loughborough to London.
