Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a severe genetic muscle wasting disease. It affects mostly boys and without treatment, these young men will be paralysed by the time they hit their early teens and die by the time they reach their early 20's. 

There is no cure for this disease.

Whether it's a penny or a tenner, all money raised will go towards research to find a cure.
