**Updated March 1st**
When our best friends Rod and Carolyn Jackson's 18 month old daughter Florence was diagnosed with a rare abdominal neuroblastoma in December, cancer became very real.
Flo, Caz, Rod and Charlotte have begun the long journey of treatments including chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy. This is all supported by the brilliant teams at The Royal Marsden Hospital.
Flo is responding well to her chemotherapy treatment and there has been recent positive news. Firstly, the cancer hasn't spread to other parts of her body which is obviously a massive relief. Secondly, the tumour has reduced considerably in size and whilst there is still a long way to go including surgery to remove her kidney in a couple of weeks followed by intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy,
Flo has carried on smiling and taking it all in her stride - she's a little trooper! As are Flo's amazing parents Rod & Caz and big sister Charlotte - their positivity and love shine through!
We would like to support the amazing work The Royal Marsden Hospital is doing for Flo and many many others in treating and fighting cancer. What better way to do this than pulling a team of great friends together and joining the Marsden March on Sunday 13th March 2016.
We have set up team "Action Jackson" to do the 14 mile walk between the Royal Marsden's Chelsea and Sutton hospitals to support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and help build a future beyond cancer.
All funds raised go directly to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, so every pound donated will help to provide the best possible diagnosis, treatment and care for those affected by cancer.
Please support and then share this page with your friends, family, colleagues - whoever you can, and we can raise well needed funds for this fantastic charity and hospital.
THANK YOU!!
