Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In April 2015, at the age of 3, our son Jack was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). We were told treatment looked very positive and we were prepared for the three year journey ahead of us.
Four weeks later we were left in complete shock after discovering Jack had caught chicken pox; unfortunately his chemotherapy had left him without the immune system to fight it off. On the 7th May, just hours after being transferred to intensive care, we had to say goodbye to our gorgeous little boy.
Last year, a group of 7 took part in the Sedgfield Colour Obstacle Rush in memory of a fun-loving, colourful boy who always left a smile on everyone's face and raised over £3000 for CLIC Sargent. We ran under the team name 'Jack's Justic League' to celebrate his love for superheroes. This year 'Jack's Justice League' has over 20 members taking part on June 11th for CLIC Sargent!
Right from the start of Jack's diagnosis this wonderful charity supported myself, Jon-Paul and the rest of our family through what can only be described as an unbearable situation. I would hate to think of any other family in our situation, even more so a family without the support this charity provides.
Please donate to this wonderful charity and help us to raise money in memory of our colourful superhero Jack.
