I've been a midwife for 30 years this year and have always supported improving mothers experience of our service. A Midwife Led Unit (MLU) is a dream that many of us have had and at last we may get our wish!!  The majority of women if they had a choice would choose midwifery led care. Having this based within the Maternity Unit gives women choice 😊
