Sunday 6th Sept : Hurray - I did it!! I had a fantastic time in Sheffield for the Great Yorkshire Run - completed the run in a respectable 52mins 57secs, race number 6684 www.greatrun.org/results - the last 1k uphill was a killer, though, everyone agreed.... There was a fabulous atmosphere in Sheffield last night and after the race today, so will definitely do it again next year :-). I will now be working on getting below the sub 50 mins time, which I was striving for today.

Thanks again to all of you for your wonderful words of encouragement and love and for supporting Cancer Research !!! My next race is the Cancer Research Crystal Palace 10k, 13th Sept, and then the ADP Highclere multi-terrain 10k on 27th Sept (no sponsorship :-). Wish me luck... sharonmorahan@hotmail.com
