its been a dream of mine for a few years, initially I wanted to do the trip in a 4x4, but this changed late last year after seeing Edd's adventure bike in his kitchen, I mentioned the trip to Edd and its now become a dream and an obsession of ours.

we have got great inspiration from the likes of long way round and long way down with Charlie and Ewan, and Perth to Perth with Steven Kirk.

the passion to do it to raise money for cancer research has come from personally watching a good friend battle skin cancer for numerous years, thankfully they beat it, but I think most people have either lost loved ones to it or been unfortunate enough to of had cancer themselves. its a great cause and hopefully with the right funding a cure will 1 day be found.

the trip will see us cross numerous continents and climates, taking in some of the most breath-taking views and scenery and people.. to moving through some of the most dangerous places on earth. from mountain ranges to deserts to rain forests, from the riches of Monte Carlo and play boy heaven to the poorest of regions in India, from magical highs to extreme lows when things don't go to plan, the trip is 25,000 miles over land, and a few boat trips or flights, taking around 5 months.
