On Saturday 17th September, five riders set off from the depot in Kingswood on the ride down to Weston, just as we set off the heavens opened and we were drenched by the time we got out of the yard!

We made our way down through Bristol City Centre, stopping off to see our colleagues at DPD Bristol before making our way across town onto the A370.

As we travelled along the A370, we stopped at a few pubs shaking our collection tins and taking on board some much needed Lager! Oops,I mean cups of tea and coffee!

We eventually made it at our destination in Weston and had Tea and Coffee waiting for us at Mercedes Benz Westn Super Mare.

Congratulations and Thank You again to all the staff that took part in the Darts Challenge at the Bristol Depot.

Each player paid £1.00 to throw 6 darts with there scores being combined.

Mariusz Nogawka (in the picture) had a combined score of 144 and won the £40.00 that had been generated. The other £40.00 has been donated to the charity.

Well done Mariusz, You're Amazing!

Congratulations and Thanks You to all the staff that took part in the Darts Challenge at the Bristol Depot.

Each player paid £1.00 to throw 9 darts with there best 3 dart score counting. Steve Richards along with Stuart Dawe both scored 140 but in the play off, Steve got closest to the bull and scooped the £15.00 winnings. However, Steve donated the prize to the charity. Well done Steve, your amazing!

 

Bristol Distribution Limited t/a Interlink Express Bristol is taking part in the Geopost Pink Parcel Challenge 2011.

Interlink Express along with DPD are joining forces to send a "Pink Parcel" around the UK via all of its sites. The target is to travel 3907 miles (Distance between all the UK sites) by any means possible. The company is looking to raise £10.00 per mile.

Interlink Bristol has set a target of £5000.00 to help towards the company's Grand Total of £50,000.00.

Over the next few months we will be doing different events to help raise money towards our total and your help will be greatly appreciated. Our main target will culminate on 17th September 2011 where the Interlink Express Bristol Depot will be riding from the depot in Kingswood to the sea front at Weston Super Mare.
