Assalamualaykum, 

As you may know, on Wednesday 31^st May, I tragically lost my beloved husband & father to my children, Mohamed Daud Mussa Ismail.

First and foremost, I humbly request you to keep Mohamed in your duas. Mohamed leaves behind a loving family, wife & children, Rumaysa who is 4 years old and Umar who is only just 6 months. We ask that you pray Allah SWT grants Mohamed Jannatul Firdaus, forgive his shortcomings & grant all of his loved ones utmost patience and strength, especially his family, wife and children, ameen. 

As a family, during this very difficult time, we have decided to come together in order to benefit Mohamed in the hereafter to construct a Masjid and fundraise water projects in his name as a means of Esaale Sawaab. In order to do this & in our time of need we would really appreciate help from the wider community. The funds collected will be used towards a Masjid in Indonesia & towards a water borehole/well project/s in either Sri Lanka or Indonesia. Both projects in areas with an urgent need.

The cost of the Masjid is £8000 & this will accommodate approximately 100-120 musalees. If we surpass our goal, we will be using the funds to build a slightly larger Masjid, provide Islamic literature &/or utilise the funds towards further lillah eligible projects. The cost of the water project is £500 if we opt for a borehole in Indonesia and £400 if we opt for a well in Sri Lanka. 

Please note, this project qualifies for Lillah only.

Estimated completion time for the Masjid will be around 8 months and for the water project within 4 months once target is reached insha’Allah. Please note, sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances/natural disasters, delays can occur, that being said, we will keep on top of our teams to complete asap insha’Allah.
