Story

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for visiting our fundraising page in memory of Raj.

A loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, Raj passed away on Sunday April 26th due to the Coronavirus. No battle was lost, and the virus didn't win - we were the winners for having him in our lives for as long as we did.

He was a volunteer at Peace Hospice Care in Watford and the charity meant an awful lot to him. We kindly ask that instead of buying flowers for his funeral that donations are made to our chosen charity.

An event to celebrate his life will come at a later date when social distancing is not required. Donations will also be welcome then.

Peace Hospice Care have had to make some very difficult decisions closing all 11 of their charity shops and postponing fundraising events for the next few months. Like their colleagues in the NHS, they continue to work on the frontline, giving care and comfort in their Inpatient Unit and across the community at patients homes.Your support really has never been more important than it is this year - heartfelt thanks if you are able to give a gift today to support Peace Hospice Care.
