Story
The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury and the only CHKS ISO9001 accredited Children’s charity in the UK.
Every year over 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury as a result of an accident or illness (figure drawn from NHS England).
At our national rehabilitation centre in Tadworth, Surrey we help children make the best recovery they can after a tragic accident or serious illness.
Our rehabilitation, community and online services are there to support all children all over the country with acquired brain injury and their families.
We also run a special school for children with complex disabilities and provide nursing care for children with complex medical needs.
We need to raise around £8 million every year to keep our services running and to keep developing innovative news ways of using our expertise to reach more children and families. With your help we can keep providing our services to thousands of children and families of children with brain injury.
