Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit this memorial page which has been set up in memory of Harry Fletcher. Harry sadly passed away on Wednesday the 8th of January 2020.
Harry was a longtime advocate of social justice, victims rights and was a criminal justice expert campaigning across political parties, bringing people together to develop progressive policies to effect lasting change.
He was also a campaigner for the National Council for One-Parent Families, Assistant General Secretary for the National Association of Probation Officers, working alongside the Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats, the Conservatives and most recently Plaid Cymru. He was instrumental in changing the law regarding domestic violence and stalking.
Harry leaves a long term partner Kate and two sons William and George.
As a committed victims rights campaigner and a person who dedicated his time to not only helping victims but ensuring laws were changed in order to protect victims of abuse Harry's family have asked that donations be made to Victim Support in memory of Harry.
