Story
John was a huge cricket fan, having played as a young boy through to adulthood, and he loved watching matches with his friends and children. He not only loved the game, but also understood the value and benefits sport can bring to people's lives, so we thought the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation was the perfect small charity to donate to in his memory.
The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation is the Yorkshire County Cricket Club's charity and community arm. It carries out inspiring work with young people and the community, to not only help them participate in sport, but to educate them about heritage, health & wellbeing, teamwork and participation in the community, ultimately aiming to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of those living in Yorkshire.
