Story
On the afternoon of Sunday 22 May 2022 Jane was taken away from us all to soon. At her funeral, we are only asking for family flowers.
Although Jane loved flowers, something else that was close to her heart was The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary (previously the Isle of Wight Zoo). In memory of Jane, instead of the laying of flowers, we suggest making a donation to this worthy cause in her name.
Over the years, Jane visited the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary in Sandown on numerous occasions. Infact, we were both members for the past couple of years. Jane would love nothing more than standing and watching Casper on his rock with Frosty close by or staring into the eyes of the gorgeous Antonella or watching the fun and frolics of Natasha, especially on a warm day if she was in the pool.
The work the Wildheart Trust does in rescuing & housing animals along with supporting projects in their natural habitat is second to none.
Recently they have built a large bamboo walkthrough enclosure for the lemurs. In memory of Jane, I have supported this project and as such two photo's of her will be displayed in the zoo as part of their mosaic wall for all to see.
