Story
As some of you already know, Dimo and I were excited to be welcoming our first child into our little family in June this year. However our beautiful son, Bebcho Dimov Peev, arrived unexpectedly 4 months early in February. He lived his entire life deeply and unconditionally loved and died in our arms 82 minutes later.
There are no words that can suitably describe how devastated we were and continue to be. Whilst we will never completely recover from this, we would not have gotten to where we are now without the love and support from our friends, family and some incredible charities.
This year we have decided to join in the Kiltwalk, walking 20 miles from St Andrews to Dundee in support of one of these charities. Anam Cara Fasgadh is a small Scottish charity that supports bereaved parents and their families, primarily by providing week-long respite holidays in their beautiful static caravan in Oban, "Poppy's Place". This was something Dimo and I didn't realise we desperately needed until we were there and it provided a sanctuary for us to reflect on ourselves and our son and brought us a lot of peace.
We are raising funds for Anam Cara Fasgadh in Bebcho's memory so they can continue to offer these holidays, maintain their current accommodation, and hopefully be able to invest in a second caravan to be able to offer even more support to bereaved families.
Anything you can spare to support this amazing charity would be gratefully received, but even if you can't support us financially, please share our story and JustGiving page to anyone else who you feel could help.
Thank you all so much, and please, if you see us or just want to drop us a message, our son and his story is something we would like to talk with you about if you are happy to listen.
