We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thank you for visiting my page.  I have set up two pages because I want to donate to two charities.  The NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) and the PDSA (for pets in need of vets) (the link for the PDSA page is www.justgiving.com/ihunterchallengepdsa ).  Just Giving only allows one charity per page (because of the way Gift Aid works) so please help me reach my targets by selecting either one of your choice, the one furthest away from my target or just by donating to both! :)

Seriously, this is going to be such a hard challenge for me.  If I wasn't doing it for charity I would have no real motivation to do something like this apart from imagining the feeling of completing it and really - all that work??  Hmmmm - It's got to be for charity I think!

Any previous attempts of mine to run have ended within a few weeks and this is a 26 mile run.  I am absolutely dreading it but I think after 2009 it may help give me an important focus which I need and I really want to do something to help the charities above which mean different things to me in different ways.

Please dig as deep as you are happy to for this and help motivate me for the challenge, knowing that you will be helping children, animals or both along the way.

HUGE THANKS!
