ICE CAP STATION ARCTIC CHALLENGE '09
! WOULD LOVE YOUR SUPPORT !
As you enjoy the warm spring sunshine, we will be heading 420kms across the Greenland ice-cap in memory of polar explorer August Courtauld, as well as highlighting climate change concerns in the Arctic and to raise funds for polar science.
Battling 200kms winds, temperatures of -20 deg's, the dangers of deep crevasses and threat of polar bears, we will trek for 21 days across a frozen white desert.
By generously donating, you will be supporting our chosen charity, The Scott Polar Research Institute. Your funds will provide support for the vitally important work of polar scientists, the historical research at the Institute and outreach activities of the polar museum.
Your donation will be collected by the Tedder Foundation, which will act as a conduit for funds received. The foundation will pass on all funds raised to the Scott Polar Research Institute.
! Huge thanks for all your support !
