Story
On the 1st December I’m cycling 10k in aid of Remap. Remap
are a registered charity that make bespoke gadgets for disabled people. Remap are a group of volunteers who mostly consist of retired engineers who give up their time to invent items that help disabled people live their life more independently. I will be using an independent hand cycle with directions from my 2 helpers. I need these as I can only see 2ft in front of me at any given time.

I am a Registered Blind wheelchair user who suffers from Mitochondrial Disease. I get easily fatigued and have only a small amount of energy each day however, resting the week before isn't an option on this occasion ! The day before this event I am at Anfield with my Roo Vision to watch Liverpool play.
In the summer of 2019 I undertook the super hero tri and we raised over £1000. It would be good to think we could raise as much again or a similar amount.
Here I am with my amazing Roo vision, built by York Remap
volunteer Rupert "Roo" Powell. The Roo vision has a VR screen near my eyes and a camera with a powereful zoom. See Roo vision here: https://youtube/hVySAm33SVg this enables me to watch and enjoy live sporting events, which I have been unable to do in the past.
