Hello 👋 

Thanks so much for visiting my JustGiving page for Bluebell Care Trust. My name is Kerrie, and I am blessed to have three beautiful children. But I'm not going to lie, my journey into and through motherhood has not been easy. I suffered with postnatal depression after my first baby was born, and also with sever pre eclampsia with my third baby, who was born just five months ago. During both times, and during my pregnancies, I have been fortunate enough to benefit from Bluebell's care. Most recently I had chats with a wonderful lady Jo, who was my buddy, and simply listened to me talk for hours (it felt like) about how I was feeling about becoming a mum of three. Just having her listen, empathise and understand made such a difference to how I was feeling, and I can't thank her and the Bluebell team enough for being there at some of the most scary and vulnerable times of my life. 

The buddy system is just one of many brilliant support services Bluebell offers families in the South West, and now I want to give something back. So, on Sat 9th July, myself and a group of incredible others will be taking on 6 gruelling Crossfit workouts in two hours to try and raise a bit of cash, and your support via a donation would mean the world to us. Trust me when I say we are going to need all the support we can get to get through this session, and any donation you can spare really will make the difference, not only to us, but to families all across Bath and Bristol.
