Jonny ran the entirety of the London Underground, above ground, in just 11 days.
Jonny’s story
To Jonny, running’s more than just exercise.
Running’s what gets him through his lowest moments. To show his support for the 125 people in the UK who take their own lives each week, he set his sights on a somewhat unconventional ultra-marathon challenge, in the city he calls home. To run the entire London Underground, above ground – in just 11 days.
Running has been the greatest mechanism for me to process my own struggles and traumas so I have chosen to fundraise for CALM who are leading the fight against suicide in the UK.
- Jonny Davies
Jonny’s journey spanned 11 tube lines and 570km in total, with days ranging from 30km to 92km. But it was the lack of sleep that was the hardest part. Some days he was burning around 10,000 calories whilst only getting 3-4 hours sleep!
