Hello we are the Hillingdon Slipstreamers Coaches- British heart foundation team.

We are a group of coaches at the Hillingdon Slipstreamers children's cycling club who were former members of the club and have now turned to coaching. We are going to ride a 24 hour mountain bike race as a relay team at the Bontrager 24/12 on the 25th-26th July 2015 in Plymouth. It is a brilliant event which 1000's of people ride. Riders can choose to ride the event solo, pairs or teams for either 24 hours or 12 hours. There are many possibilities.

The team: Sam Grant, Hannah Gunn, Mark Passey, Simon Passey and Rebecca Pressner.

We are raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Brian Wright the Hillingdon Slipstreamers former head coach.

Brian died in April 2012 from a heart attack in his sleep whilst on a cycling holiday in Majorca. he went to Majorca every year for the last 40 years.

Brian was a “one of a kind” character who would help anyone at any age, with any ability of riding a bike.  He has helped 100's of children and adults to be the best riders they could be including all of our riders who are raising money for him. He has a special place in all of hearts and will not be forgotten.
