We carry out practical research to improve quality of life after paralysis

Story

In support of my cousin and all those affected by spinal cord injury, I will spend 18 November in a wheelchair. 

I have teamed up with Wheels at Work (and school) — a sponsored day in a wheelchair for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research.

The charity Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research is based in the UK, and aims to improve the quality of life for people living with a spinal cord injury (paralysis). The charity was founded in Stoke Mandeville – the birthplace of the Paralympic Games.
