I have chosen to run the GNR for the British Heart Foundation. Heart disease is the number 1 killer in the UK and the NHS nor the Government don't put any funds towards research to help prevent it. The BHF are the single most independent funder of cardiovascular research in the UK. . It is vital that they keep continuing research as we want to prevent heart disease and other heart conditions.
