Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am targeting a specific project, the Unspoken Project  theatre company set up by an AAC user and Communication Matters supporter/member, Kate Caryer MA (Leeds University), who is writing a radical piece  about an AAC user. See the Unspoken Project https://www.facebook.com/unspokenAAC CM and Kate have plans that it will Premier in 2016 at CM conference. Also ofcourse supporting Communication Matters itself in awareness raising on alternative and augmentative communications systems for all ages and conditions: from cerebral palsy to motor neurone disease, communication empowers..

Why in memory of Terry Gardner? Well my dad died at a ripe old age this year, so to celebrate. But he loved theatre from a young age and gave me some great opportunities. . He also latterly worked with industry, businesses and people with physical disabilities to negotiate employment. He also arranged inclusive  theatre workshops way back in the 70s. So I am following his lead.......
